The Thouzon Caves

The Thouzon Cave, also called the Fairies Cave, opens at the foot of the Thouzon hill, in Vaucluse, in Provence. Discovered in 1902 during the exploitation of a quarry, the Thouzon Cave has remained intact thanks to its immediate development.

It will amaze you with its astonishing yellow and gold stalactites, which can reach 2 meters for a diameter of 3 millimeters, which are the centerpieces.

The cavity opens on about 230 meters in length, you will walk in the fossil bed of an ancient underground river for the pleasure of the whole family.
