Developed in years when the phenolic potential of grenache is optimum. The special cuvée "Cuvée de Voulongue" was launched in 2000.
The cuvée is vinified in thermo-regulated open-air tanks, to allow punching down in addition to unballasting. This technique allows intense extraction of color and material. The drop and press wine are assembled for the last fermentation. The aging in vats lasts one year. Bottling takes place at the estate.
Dark fruit, peppery note, powerful aromas.
Marinated red meats, in sauce, omelets with truffles, game, cheese, chocolate dessert.
