The Popes' Palace is the symbol of the influence of the church on the Christian West in the 14th century. Built in 1335, in less than twenty years, it was mainly the work of two building popes, Benedict XII and his successor Clement VI.

Located in the Heart of the Monts de Vaucluse and the Pays des Sorgues, the most beautiful river in the department, La Sorgue, rises at Fontaine de Vaucluse. It springs up at the foot of a steep 230m cliff, in the hollow of a closed valley.

Discovered in 1902 during the exploitation of a quarry, the Thouzon Caves have remained intact thanks to its immediate development. They will amaze you with their astonishing yellow and gold stalactites which are the centerpieces.
